Shipping and Return Policy

We ship to the United States with physical mailing addresses.

We are unable to ship to PO Box(s) or APO addresses.

International shipping can be arranged on prepaid, large volume orders only.

Demand for emergency preparedness food and supplies has raised significantly higher these last several months.  Longer processing times throughout the industry are inevitable and our manufacturers are working harder than ever to ensure each order goes out as quickly as possible!  


Please allow up to (5) business days for delivery via UPS on most United States orders. Thank you for your patience!

Survival-Goods Shipping Methods
 
UPS Ground:
  • We ship most orders via UPS Ground from our Westminster, California supplier; if packaged in six (6) boxes or less. 
    • Number of boxes subject to change depending on order contents and weight.

FedEx Ground and Freight:

  • Our Wise Foods products will ship direct from our Centerville, Utah manufacturer.
Freight Truck:

We will use either Mayday Industries or Wise Foods contracted freight trucking companies if the order is subject to any of the following conditions:

  • Any orders that exceed six (6) boxes 
  • Products that exceed size and weight limits
  • Orders that are considered high volume/bulk orders
  • Orders that require special shipping instructions (i.e. lift gate if no loading dock is available or if inside delivery has been requested)

Signature will be required upon delivery and the order may incur additional shipping costs based on special order instructions and/or packaging.

It is important that the freight company and customer arrange a date and time for delivery. Signature will be required. If the freight carrier is unable to deliver order at the fault of the receiver than there will be a $50 a day charge for any storage that is required by the freight company. Re-Delivery Fee(s) may also result on a 2nd or 3rd delivery attempt.

Some online orders that are purchased through our online checkout system may require additional or standard shipping fees once the order has been received: You will be notified via phone or e-mail of any additional charges before your order is processed for shipment.

High Volume / Bulk Orders

Additionally, bulk orders can take advantage of more favorable shipping rates by contacting us for a quote request and volume discount.

What if any of the products I order are not available or out of stock?
 
We will do our very best to inform our customers via e-mail or phone if any of the products in their order are delayed or on back order. Otherwise your order will ship automatically as soon as the new stock arrives in warehouse.

How are your shipping rates calculated?
 
At Survival-Goods, we know how expensive shipping can be that is why we took extra measures to directly link our site to UPS which allows our system to compute the shipping charges during the checkout process based on the ship to destination and the order weight.
 
Should any orders require additional shipping and handling fees. You will be notified via phone or e-mail of any additional charges before your order has been fully processed for shipment. 

Return Policy

How long do I have to return a purchase?
 
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase.  Please take up to three (3) business days to decide if you would like to keep your purchase.  If within that time, you decide to return your purchase you may return the unopened and unused product for a refund, subject to a 20% restocking fee.
 
We will make every effort to remedy any problems that may arise. Please contact us with any concerns or replacements needed.

Is everything returnable?
 
Due to the nature of the items that we sell, there would be a safety issue in accepting certain items for return. Therefore, the following products can not be accepted for return:
  • Any food or drink product or products containing food or water
  • Any storage or handling products for food or consumable liquids
  • Any environmental contamination treatment products (such as water treatment tablets)
  • All environmental preparedness products (such as N95 respirator masks)
  • All hygiene and sanitation items
  • All medical / first-aid products
  • Opened items and items with damaged product packaging
How do I make a return?
 
All returns must be issued a RMA (return merchandise authorization).  To receive an RMA number, please contact us. Returned merchandise must be shipped via UPS or FedEx to ensure a tracking number is available.
 
What about products with expiration dates?
 
Our food and water come directly from the manufacturer(s) and we acquire the freshest product with the longest shelf life available.  However, we cannot guarantee that these items will have the full shelf life as advertised and indicated from the manufacturer due to manufacturer production schedules, shipping times, and the fact that we have to warehouse these items for interim periods in order to have them available for immediate customer order fulfillment.
 
What if the product doesn't look exactly like the picture on the web site?
 
We make every effort to provide current and accurate product images and descriptions however manufacturers constantly update and modify their product models.  While we strive for 100% accuracy we cannot be responsible for image and/or minor text inaccuracies, errors or omissions that do not render a product materially different by altering the basic functionality, value and utility.

Are shipping charges refundable?
 
Survival-Goods will refund standard shipping charges only when there is a defect in merchandise.  Returns must be complete with parts, accessories, manuals, etc. Products with defects caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, modifications, negligence, failure to read and adhere to the manufacturers recommendations and operating instructions, repairs or attempts at repairs, lack of proper routine maintenance and other causes beyond the control of Survival-Goods are not covered in this policy.
 
What if the shipment is damaged?
 
If a package is damaged upon arrival, you should inform the transit shipper immediately and complete their reporting process for packages damaged in transit.  You must also contact us to inform us of a damaged shipment within two (2) days of receiving the merchandise or we can not be responsible for shipment damage.
