Reeves Sleeve with Carrying Case
Patients needing medical treatment and evacuation are not
always in easily accessible spots, and the stretcher ordinarily used by
emergency personnel may not be appropriate.
When a regular stretcher will not work, the Reeves Sleeve with Carrying
Case can provide a way to remove the patient from nearly any situation. This stretcher offers a safe and quick way to
hold the patient securely during transport.
The Reeves Sleeve can be used in either a horizontal or vertical
position and is designed to be carried by four people.
Made of sturdy orange nylon, the Reeves Sleeve has 6 straps
to assure that the patient is held safely, and there is a special attachment to
immobilize the head – especially important in the case of head, neck, or spinal injuries. Once strapped in, the patient
will be completely immobilized. This
stretcher can be used with a backboard with a maximum width of 18 inches, and
the side buckles have been designed to allow for quick fastening and
release.
The carrying case makes the Reeves Sleeve easy to carry into
nearly any emergency medical situation, and this device is suitable for use
with evacuation by helicopter hoist.
When used with a backboard, the Reeves Sleeve can carry up to 1,500
pounds. Read About the Coming Stretcher Revolution EVAC Roll Stretcher Kit
