Innovation comes to the convenient meal solution food category by offering a self-heating product - Chef 5 Minute Meals™. This unique product requires no refrigeration, has up to a five (5) year shelf life, cooks its self (no oven or microwave needed) and is preservation-free.

Each meal has its own unique portable heating system (patent pending) and consumers are able to enjoy a hot 9 oz. entrée at anytime without worry about electrical access. Simple to use, within seconds the portable oven heats up to 195°F and in just five minutes the meal is ready to eat.

How it Works:
MRE flameless heaters use a Self-Heating technology that's a simple combination of food grade iron and magnesium powder, salt, and water. When the contents of the water pouch are poured over the heater pad, the Food Heater releases enough heat to warm-up a pre-cooked meal 100 degrees Fahrenheit in approximately 5-10 minutes.

1) First tear open the heater bag.
2) Place the meal in the bag against the heater pad.
3) Pour the provided salt water pouch into the bag to start the heater.
4) Fold the opening over and use the tape on the bag to keep it closed.
5) Place the meal in the heater bag on a heat-safe surface.
