Emergency Kits
To properly prepare for an emergency, it is essential to have an emergency kit available; ideally, a kit for each member of the family. A small backpack that is light enough for a child to carry is ideal. No matter what you use to put your basis items in, it must be portable.
Routinely check your kits(s) and throw away anything that has expired. If you move, make sure the items are appropriate for disaster threats in your area.
